This expansive outdoor living project in Elmsford, New York was designed to bring multiple entertainment and relaxation spaces together into one seamless backyard environment. The centerpiece of the project is a large elevated deck finished with a series of integrated louvered roof structures that provide adjustable shade and weather protection throughout the space. By combining multiple covered sections across the deck, the homeowners were able to create dedicated zones for dining, lounging, cooking, and entertaining while still maintaining an open, connected layout. The clean white framing adds a refined architectural element to the backyard and pairs naturally with the home’s exterior, while integrated heaters, lighting, and fans help extend the usability of the space across much of the year.

Below the elevated deck, the lower patio creates an additional outdoor retreat with curved seating arranged around a fire pit, giving the homeowners another comfortable destination within the landscape. The combination of layered elevations, soft landscape lighting, and carefully planned planting beds helps the entire project feel polished and cohesive from every angle. Rather than functioning as a single deck or patio, the backyard operates as a complete outdoor living environment tailored to the way the homeowners wanted to spend time outside.
