In our initial consultation with the homeowners, their number one goal was to connect the house to the pool with a natural flow. We took that information and ran with it – not only does their new backyard oasis have a seamless flow from house to pool, but we designed it with a view of the pool from every area of their multi-level deck. This transitional deck has cool, clean lines, giving it that modern-meets-traditional element that they were looking for. Grays and blacks were used on the decking, complemented with natural wood tones that warm it up. We used Azek PVC wide plank decking, reminiscent of old-school wide plank flooring. This is the only wide-plank decking on the market, and has a 15 year warranty(?).
